CARTER, Neil:

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Neil, peacefully with family present, on Thursday July 16, 2026, in Christchurch, aged 78 years.

Dearly loved husband of Susan, much-loved father and father-in-law of Conan and Kate, and John and Nicole; and cherished Grandad to Mila, Cooper, Ruby, Grace, and Heidi. Loved son of the late James and Florence (Jo) and beloved brother of Jim.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and remembered forever with love.

Neil’s life will be celebrated at the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, at 1:00pm on Friday, July 24, 2026.
