FREEMAN, Margaret Ann (nee Butts):

On July 22, 2026, peacefully at Arvida Ilam after a long illness. In her 82nd year.

Treasured wife of Les (Elton) for 61 years. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Kevin and Niesha, Cathy and Mark Griffin, Philip and Annabel, and Richard and Anita. Much loved Nana of all her grandchildren. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Robert and Joan Butts, and sister-in-law of Beatrice Butts.

Sincere thanks to all staff at the Cressy Unit Arvida Ilam for their loving care over the past 27 months.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Teresa’s Catholic Church, 8 Puriri Street, Riccarton, at 1:00pm on Monday, July 27, to be followed by a private cremation.
