GILBERT, Baroona Winifred Alice:

Passed peacefully on 7th July 2026, aged 96 years.

Loved wife of the late Philip. Dearly loved mother of John, David, and the late Wendy. Devoted grandmother to Noah, Zara, Lauren and Matthew. A much loved friend to many.

Special thanks to the staff at Burlington Village and Alpine View for their care and support over many years.

A celebration of Baroona’s life will be held at John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, at 1:00pm on Wednesday, 15th July 2026, followed by a private cremation.
