GILBERT, Baroona Winifred Alice:
Passed peacefully on 7th July 2026, aged 96 years.
Loved wife of the late Philip. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of John & Sandra, David & Anna, and the late Wendy. Devoted grandmother to Noah, Zara, Lauren and Matthew. A much loved friend to many.
Special thanks to the staff at Burlington Village and Alpine View for their care and support over many years.
A celebration of Baroona’s life will be held at John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, at 1:00pm on Wednesday, 15th July 2026, followed by a private cremation.
