HAWKE, David Henry – On 9^th September 2026, surrounded by love, whilst on holiday in Auckland; aged 85 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Irene.  Loved father and father-in-law of Julie and Graeme Norris, and Nigel and Karen.

Much loved grandad to Emma, and Jessica; Andrea, and Rebecca. Loved great grandad to Addison.  Cherished by Elaine.

A much-loved brother, uncle, and friend to many.

A service to celebrate the life of David will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entrance from London or Whitmore Streets,

Richmond, Christchurch on Monday 21 September at 1.00.p.m. Private cremation thereafter.
