ILOTT, Sidney Robert James:

Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, 29 January 2026, at Summerset on Cavendish, Christchurch; aged 89 years.

Loved husband of Ruth and a cherished father to Graham, Richard (dec), Jeffrey (dec), Sandra, and Laurence; his daughters-in-law, Yvonne, Angela, and Leana; and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sid was a man who valued family above all else. His kindness, integrity, and gentle spirit leave a lasting legacy for his family and those who knew him. A man of deep and steadfast faith, Sid was a devoted Christian, finding strength and purpose in his walk with the Lord. Sincere thanks to the staff of Summerset on Cavendish for their care and support.
