MAHON Warren Herbert Francis:

On August 24, 2026, at Nazareth House surrounded by family. Treasured husband and soulmate of Joan. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Karen and John Rolleston, John and Karen Mahon, Geoff (dec), Andrea, Julie and Grant. Beloved grandad of Ella, Louis, Harry, Henry, Robert, Phoebe, Courtney, George, Maisie, Fletcher, and Hazel. Loved son of the late Bert and Mae Mahon and brother and brother-in-law of the late Garry and Marie. Uncle of Clare, Tom, Helen, Annie and Rachel.

The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care Warren received from Dr Richard Newman, Emily and the palliative care team, staff at Ward B5 Christchurch Hospital and the team at Nazareth House.

Rosary will be recited in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch on Sunday, August 30, at 5:30pm. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Teresa’s Catholic Church, 9 Puriri Street, Riccarton on Monday, August 31, at 11:00 am.
