Peacefully, on March 1, 2026, in Christchurch, at 86 years of age.
Dearly loved husband of Sylvia for 62 years. Loving, generous father, and Master of Dad jokes to Martin & Diane, Helen & Peter, Christine & Quentin. Kind, loving Grandad to Josh & Hannah, Alex & Cassidy, Hannah, Jeremy and Jonathan, and proud Great-Grandad to Ellie.
A beautiful man with a welcoming smile, unlimited cheek, delightful belly laughter and unconditional love, who will be missed beyond belief.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at Avonhead Baptist Church, 102 Avonhead Road Christchurch, Friday, March 6 at 11.30 am.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Bupa Parklands for their compassionate care over the past two months.
