CHAPMAN, Patrick Daniel “Pat”:

Officer of the Order of St John.

On October 14, 2025, unexpectedly at home. Aged 76 years.

Dearly loved and treasured husband of Mala, and former husband of Karyn Dimond. Much loved Dad of Damian and Rebecca; loved brother and brother-in-law of Kelvyn and the late Lesley Chapman, Lynda and Harry Deans, Carol Beechey and Trevor Farr, and Alistair Dimond; and loved uncle of all his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Pat was a jovial, dedicated and knowledgeable man who will be greatly missed by family, friends, and colleagues.

A service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held at the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, at 10:00am on Thursday, October 23, to be followed by a private cremation.
