Peacefully, surrounded by family, on 4th December 2025 in his 90th year. Dearly loved husband of Jocelyn. Much loved father and father-in-law of Stephen and Sonia, Cate and Mark, Pip and Geoff, Justine and Steve. Treasured grandfather of Isaac, Conor, Lily, Ella, Harry, Tim, Michael, James, Nick, Paddy, Samuel and Annabel.
Special thanks to the Russley Village and to the wonderful nurses on Ward B6 at Christchurch Hospital.

In accordance with John’s wishes, a private cremation is being held.
A celebration of John’s life will be held in the Harewood Chapel, Wilkinsons Road, Christchurch on Tuesday, 9 December, at 2pm.
