RUTLEDGE David Kenneth

Passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, in Christchurch; aged 82 years. Beloved son of Albert and Isabel, brother and brother-in-law of John and Jenny, Uncle of Matt, Mary and Frances and Great Uncle of Miriane, Ruben, Oliver, Francie, Charlie, Izzy and Jesse.

David was an active member of the Deaf Society of Canterbury. He will be missed by his dear friends and family. Special thanks to the beautiful staff at Village Palms and Deaf Aotearoa for their wonderful care and support.

A service to celebrate David’s life will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, Richmond, Christchurch, entry from Whitmore Street, on Monday, March 9, at 1pm. Livestream of the funeral is available via johnrhind.co.nz on David’s notice in upcoming funerals.
