On April 23, 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family: aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Christine for 63 years, and loving father and father in law of Louisa & Roger, Andrew & Tracey, Catherine & Dougal, Edward & Liza, Charlotte & Mark, Olivia & David and Genevieve & Sean, and adored grandfather of his twenty grandchildren: George, Oliver & Madeline; Josephine & Jack; Emma, Sophie, Thomas & Robert; Jordan, Sam & William; Ari & Matilda; Frederick, Millicent & Florence; Cian, Rory & Rose. A Requiem Mass for Les will be Celebrated at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral, 373 Manchester Street, Christchurch on Wednesday 29th April at 10.30am followed by interment in Shands Road Cemetery, Shands Road, Prebbleton. A Vigil will be held in the Church on Tuesday 28th April at 7.00.p.m.
