Doreen Catherine Swift

Swift, Doreen Catherine,

 passed away peacefully on 1 June 2026 at Summerset  Avonhead, aged 91 years.  Beloved wife of the late Dean, treasured Mum and mother in law  of Andrew and Carolyn,  and Rachelle and Evan Hunt; cherished Grandma to Alyssander, Tim, Hamish and Ben; much loved  sister and sister in law of  Ron (deceased) and Lettie Falkingham and adored Aunty Doreen to Kate; loved sister in law of the late Catherine.   A special cousin, neighbour and  friend to all she connected with.

A celebration of Doreen’s life will be held at Christchurch North Methodist Chapel, cnr Harewood Road and Chapel Street, on Friday 5th June at 1.30pm.

 Mum enjoyed a colourful life so bright clothes and a smile are welcomed.
