On August 15^th 2025, peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospital, aged 78 years, surrounded by loving family.

Dearly loved husband of the late June.

Loved and cherished father and father-in-law of Jackie and Peter, Angie and Ross, and Dean and Michelle.

Much loved Gamps/Da of the late Shaun, Chantelle, Nathan, Brittney, Danielle and loved great Gamps of Tyler, and Zarly.

Loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

In accordance with Richards wishes a private cremation has been held. A gathering to Celebrate Richards life, over refreshments, will be held on Saturday August 30^th from 1pm at the Kaiapoi Club (Upstairs).
