Paul Edward John Ayres

Passed away suddenly on 30 June 2025. Much loved husband and best friend of Shona for 43 years. Loved Dad of Jonathon and Sarah, Ryan and Kimberley. Cherished Pop of Maddison and baby Dallas. Dearly loved son of Patricia Ayres-Peoples and the late Murray Ayres. Loved brother to Coral and Pete, Bruce and Pam and brother in law Wayne. Loved by his nieces and nephew. Paul will be greatly missed by his family, friends and wider community. He made friends wherever he went and will be missed more than words can say.
A service will be held at the Harewood Chapel, Wilkinsons Road off Gardiners Road on Monday July 7th at 1pm. Followed by a celebration of Paul’s life at the Kaiapoi Club.
