BEATTIE, John Victor Charles,

With heavy hearts our beloved John slipped away peacefully in his sleep, at home  in Christchurch, aged 71 years.

Treasured husband of Helen, adored father and cherished friend of Matt and Holly, and the late Samuel.

Much loved son-in-law of Alex and Sally Alexander.

Dearest uncle of Lewis and Fraser and loved brother-in-law of David & Rachel Alexander and Ruth & Pete Day.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Child Cancer Foundation, would be appreciated and can be made online to childcancer.org.nz/donate in memory of John.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at the Hanmer Springs Golf Club, 133 Argelins Road, Hanmer Springs on Tuesday 2 September at 11.30am.
