On September 2, 2024, peacefully in Fernside, in his 80^th year. Dearly loved husband of Karima, son of the late Ernest and Doris Beaven, brother of Giles, and cousin to many.  Messages to c/o The James Beaven family P O Box 263 Kaiapoi 7644. A service to celebrate James’s life will be held at St Mary’s, Rotherham, 41 Wilkin Street, on Monday, September 9, at 11:00am, followed by light refreshments in the Rotherham Memorial Hall.
