On August 28th 2025, peacefully at Oxford Hospital, surrounded by loving family, aged 82 years.
Dearly loved husband of Jane. Loved father and father-in-law of Richard and Ann, Terance and Mon, Joanne and Gary, and Bridget and Bill. Loved grandad of Brooke, Grace, and Mitchell; Luke, and George; Darcy and Ash, Megan and Nicholas, and Christie; Eilish, and Caitlin. And a loved great grandad to Layla, Alita, and Miro.

A service to celebrate Gavin’s life will be held in the St Andrews Anglican Church, Oxford Corner of High and Church Streets Oxford, on Thursday September 4th, 2025 at 1pm, followed by interment in the Oxford cemetery.
