Valerie Maureen Henwood

Passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Christchurch Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. Aged 92 years.

Beloved wife of the late Peter for 67 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Gregory and Rose-Sharon, Scott and Tanya, Stewart and Yuko, Blair and Martine, and Petrea and Phil. Adored Grandma of Ashleigh, Danielle, Angelica, Jamie, Jessica, Aimee, and Amber.

A special thanks to the staff at Diana Isaac Retirement Village and Resthome, and Christchurch Hospital (in particular, Ward 16) for their care and support shown to Valerie and her family.
