MOORE Marie Helen: (nee McGrath) It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Marie aged 94, on Thursday 4 September 2025 surrounded by love.  Much loved and adored daughter of the late Jack and Alice McGrath, Wife of the late Maurice (Pod), Mother and Mother-in-law of Bill and Gail, Nicola and Richard Curtis, Mike and Anya, Tina and Philip Ashton, Sean, Hugh and Robyn, Mark Moore and Kirsty Richards, Matthew, Sarah Moore and Denis Sheridan. Cherished Nana of 23 grandchildren and loved Granny of 21 great-grandchildren. Loved older Sister of Judith Tranter. Respected friend and Aunty to many more.

The family would like to acknowledge the care and respect shown to Marie at Ngaio Marsh Rest home. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the IHC at https://www.ihc.org.nz/get-involved/donate.

Rosary will be recited in the church, on Tuesday, (tomorrow) September 9, at 5pm. Funeral Mass for Marie will be celebrated at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, Manchester St, Christchurch on Wednesday, September 10, at 9:15am. Followed by private burial.
