Nelson, Sister Deirdre (Holy Faith Sisters)
Died peacefully on 8th June 2025 in the loving care of the staff at Diana Isaac Retirement Village, Christchurch, late of Christchurch, Canberra and Auckland. Formerly of Christchurch, she is predeceased by her parents Gertrude and Albert, her sister Fay, her brothers Paul, Philip and Roger.
She will be sadly missed by her Holy Faith sisters, her sister – in – law Maureen Nelson, her nephew Peter and Mary, her niece Jane, and Grand Aunt of Julia, Brian, Adam, Kate and Ronan.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Sr. Deirdre, at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral, Manchester Street, Christchurch, on Monday, 16th June, at 10.30am, followed by burial at Ruru Lawn Cemetery.
