SMITH Roger John

Died peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on Sunday June 8, 2025 aged 80 years. Beloved husband of Jean. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Damian and Kookai, Yvonne and Phil Giddens. Much loved uncle to his nephews and nieces and their families. Loved brother and brother-in-law to Geoffrey (deceased) and Ann (England), Rupert and Rita Tipples. Many thanks to the staff at Christchurch Hospital and St John for all their care of Roger. A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, on Monday June 16, 2025 at 1.00pm followed by a private cremation.
